Get started in four steps, without hassle
Create your space, add your home and your first contract. Deadlines find their place in the Today screen, whether you use AI or not.
Step 1 — Create your space
Sign in with Google or with email and password and create your space. If the home is shared, invite the people who manage it with you: everyone sees the same property, the same deadlines and the same documents, without duplicating anything.
Step 2 — Add your home
Start from the address: autocomplete helps you get it right. Cadastral data — foglio (sheet), particella (parcel), subalterno (subordinate), rendita catastale (cadastral income) — can wait until you have them; they never block you from starting.
Step 3 — Add your first contract
Two equal paths. Choose the one you prefer — neither is a fallback.
Upload a PDF or a photo
Snap a bill or upload a contract as PDF: Abitally reads supplier, start date, duration, price and deadlines. Each field stays editable and shows where it came from in the document and with what confidence. If something looks off, you fix it.

Type it in by hand — equally complete
Prefer to type it yourself? Enter the same fields by hand: supplier, start date, duration, price, deadlines. This is the base path, guaranteed and complete — not a workaround when AI is off. It always works, even without a key.
- Same fields as the automatic path, no differences.
- No blocker if you don’t have the PDF at hand.
- Always valid, even without setting up AI.
Step 4 — Deadlines appear on their own
Deadlines emerge from the contract data: the disdetta (termination window), the end of the economic terms and any others you add. You find them in the Today screen, ordered by urgency, with three simple actions: done, dismiss, snooze. Nothing gets lost, nothing piles up.
What if you don’t want to use AI?
You can use all of Abitally without AI. AI only saves you time.
- Without a key the app is fully functional: you lose speed, not features. Enter data by hand and deadlines still appear.
- If you want automatic extraction, you use your own Google key: it’s free, needs no credit card and you create it with a guided, step-by-step setup.
- The key stays encrypted, is not readable by us and you can revoke it with one click whenever you want.
- Before the first upload we tell you plainly what is sent to Google with your key and what stays with you. You decide whether to continue.
What to have at hand
Little is enough to start. If you have these, you’ll move faster; if not, you can still start.
- A recent bill — electricity or gas — or the supply contract you’re using.
- The visura catastale (cadastral survey), only if you already have it: foglio, particella, subalterno and rendita catastale can wait.
- The supply references you know, like POD for electricity or PDR for gas, if you have them at hand.
You can start with nothing: add the address and complete the rest whenever you want.
